Intelligent send functionality brings a new dimension to office communication by allowing you to scan in colour and black and white documents and forward them in JPEG, PDF or TIFF format directly from the iR2020i photo copier to email addresses, FTP sites, databases or iFaxes. By opting to send as a PDF, files can be compressed to up to one tenth of their original size, retaining their quality but enabling the document to be sent quickly across the network.

You can also connect to Canon’s iWPublishing Manager, allowing different source files (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to be easily combined and printed as one document, with the finishing options you chose. Alternatively document management can be performed via iWDM Gateway to connect the device to your database.

Look the part - Present a professional image every time with the 20 ppm 2020i. Print with outstanding clarity and produce quality, double sided and stapled reports using the optional internal finishing unit. The productivity of this multi-tasking solution can be enhanced further with an additional tray to separate printand copied output. Alternatively, an inner two-way tray for non-stapled collation can be incorporated for maximum versatility.

Seamless network integration - Integration into your network is seamless using Mac or Windows. Set-up and management is effortless thanks to Canon’s utilities. Network printing up to 1,200 dpi is enabled using Canon's advanced-performance proprietary printer language UFR II Lite, and PCL printing is also supported.

Space saving and scalable - Compact it may be but the 2020i can cope with some big challenges. You can choose additional paper drawers up to 1,080 sheets catering for paper sizes up to A3. Innovative design means that document finishing can be handled internally so the device can be comfortably accommodated in small spaces.

Cost effective and environmentally responsible - Innovative on-demand fixing technology enables an energy saving sleep mode to be automatically initiated when the device is not in use.
